Red one for me, please ;)
Isn't racing trucks an oxymoron or something? How about they race bricks or something equally illogical?

Mark

:grenade:

I guess you could race subcompact cars with tiny four cylinder engines, that wouldn't make any sense either right??? People race whatever they want, call them foolish if you wish, but if that's the case then call me a fool for racing my truck, but in 97 chevy didn't make a RWD $15K car, but they made RWD $15K trucks, which can be just as exciting as any F-body...
I'm no fan of NASCAR, simply because I don't see the point of it anymore (stock car racing my ***). However, I do understand the idea of racing trucks. I'd like to see a true stock (only modifications from factory being filters/plugs/fluids/tires and safety gear) truck race, though. With both a road course (non-oval) and an offroad section. This would be far more exciting to watch and would help get manufacturers more truck sales than the current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series does. Nobody would be buying Toyota trucks anymore, that's for sure :)
whoppy... who gives... where the hell is my dang camaro!!! No one is gunna say to themselves.... "OMG the #16 chevy truck won! I better go get me one of thoes down at the dealers!!" At least the trucks are RWD...

You'd be surprised how many fans base their buying habits off what still races on the track, albeit its not stock...

My whole devotion to the bowtie came about because Dale Earnhard drove that Black #3 when I first started watching.. Oh and POS Ford we had that I hated also influenced that decision

Indeed. ;)

The NASCAR Trucks:

RWD, V8 engines .....yep, sounds like a Chevy truck.

Compare to Monte Carlo: FWD, V6 engine.......

black one is my favorite.
same here, it has the most agressive look to it.
So with the black Craftsman one, if it "breaks," can they bring it to any Sears store and get a free replacement?
