well that has to suck, but GM is a business in the business of making money. american based, but becoming increasingly global. i dunno... i can understand the desire to keep jobs in america, but GM has to keep competitive, and one of those ways is to reduce costs. maybe i'd feel different if it was my job being shipped to india, but contract work by nature is kinda volatile and can't really be counted on for the long term.
