Excellent! Maybe Carl-Peter and the gang can explain why their engine options and other great small cars aren't being exported here. Considering GM's getting hammered on fuel economy and their lack of capable small cars in the US, you'd think it would be a natural fit with the revised products due out in the next 2 years. Hopefully the diesels and small twin turbo engines were designed to meet US emissions regs as well as the safety standards.

Hmm...maybe the questions should be directed at GM NA instead. After all, when development of the current (new) Corsa was being done, GM NA was not interested so Opel did not bother with the necessary (costly) development work.

GM NA has shown that it's DOA above the neck when it comes to small cars. After all, they're the ones who are turning down a production version of the Beat or Groove for North America. Heaven forbid we get a good small car instead of a midsize disguised as a small car in the Cobalt.
