Two Different versions of the car.First is maybe more modern and the second is a little more off-the-wall and is an attempt to bring some old school rally back into a hatch(nicked the flares from Lancia Delta). The idea is they would be light, cheap and fun to drive.

Well for now the name can just be a project title and I agree it isn't right, my marketing background is limited. I do take your point about the Fiat 500 connection, the 500 was actually the car I was aiming for mine to have close proportions to, but obviously I took it a little far and might still trim some edges and mould some surfaces.

Though I don't like small cars(despite the fact that the gas price reaching/exceeding(in some states) $4.00 a gallon), it's a great drawing. I can never draw like that. I like the first one, though the rear quarter window kinda look like the Hyundai's 2010 Genesis Coupe.

Nice drawing.

It looks like some sort of 2nd gen Saturn VUE, crossed with a Suzuki XL7 (or w/e is on Theta) and a Nissan Versa in the rear. :D

I am not such a good drawer, Photoshop really does it for you, but it is restricting in that when you have an idea in your head you then have to make it look that way from an angle and it never quite works out right.

Yeah I was annoyed when I saw that concept because I have a few drawings with that windowline from a couple of years ago... but i doubt they are copying my unseen drawings (not that your sugguesting that at all). It actually started at my dislike of the little Citroen with windows that don't line up, and I was going for that same idea but trying to make it flow alot better.... then came Hyundai.

Oh and that is a side exiting exhaust on the second one, let's just say it's there to help increse boot space, not for the boy-racer part of me.

Thanks for the comments guys, keep them coming.

As of this week I am a hatchback driver... sad i know, so now I have a different perspective on the idea. It is very easy to park at least, it's a pity that mine isn't good on fuel though.

tell me how the hatch goes, joe. im just buying my first car and i dont know what to do

Also, great pics. i gotta say that i like the first one better cuz of the smoother lines but both are pretty good.

The VR6 is epic... goes like a rocket and they are a bargain. Only problem is by the time your in second your doing over the speed limit.
If you're interested in one have a look at common faults and things to check for... heaps of forums on them, high mileage is a good bargaining tool but they take big distances in their stride.

Oh....and the sound....

Ill keep it in mind. My parents wont let me get anything american, and id rather not get anything japanese, so europe is where i turn to and i want to find a used golf gti. Then again, its another year until i buy anything so right now its just wishful thinking. As far as your drawings go, i probably prefer the first one, but like the front end of the second.
