(Former) UAW president Gary Jones was sentenced to 28-months in federal prison, following his felony conviction for corruption: Gary Jones, ex-UAW president, gets reduced 28-month prison sentence

He was one of 15 people (so far.....) convicted in the long-running corruption investigation of the UAW and auto manufacturers.

The corrupt Mr. Jones was the one who called for and supported the 40-day labor strike against GM, which caused GM to lose a significant amount of income, and damaged relations with GM and their customers.

Mr. Jones and his fourteen comrades that earned felony convictions represent just the tip of the iceberg. UAW in its entirety is a corrupt, violent, and immoral organization.

The sooner UAW is dissolved, the better.

Indeed. I believe most unions have devolved from their original purpose of protecting and advocating, into corrupt power-wielding intimidation crime rings that have become exactly the same problem they were originally created to battle against.

Christopher Sign committed suicide, imagine that, at 45, just like that, Amazing.. normal person, excellent at his job.. decides to commit suicide .. bam..apparent suicide..who broke the Bill Clinton tarmac meeting with then-Attorney General Lorreta Lynch ... ..you know the whole organization is clean with all its tentacles.. very clean.. A person like Jones will decide one of these fine days that he has had enough.. or he will keep his mouth shut...

Back in the day when a union boss caused this much trouble, you can look him up later in the Yellow Pages under Cement.
