What actually does make Chevrolet the most popular brand in Russia? :D

Anyhoo, Hyundai's growth is impressive and should ring a big bell in GM's Kremlin (i.e. Russian head office). Good to see Chinese makes still in the obscure end of the table, and Opel doing well despite only having the Western European lineup (i.e. w/o the Astra B, which is sold by GM-Avtovaz as Chevrolet Viva).

It is expected to. According to today's news, Russian markets got shattered by the sudden outflow of capital, and the wages are expcted to stagnate, while economists predict some rather sharp reductions in employment. The problem was that growth was fueled by the expectations of even more growth, once they are in doubt, so is current growth.
