Yes thats right, Ford is hiring back 1,000 laid off workers for the Dearborn Truck Assembly Plant in Dearborn. Ford is now expecting a bigger reaction to the F-150 than they thought before. Commercials start this Sunday with football on Fox. Also I heard that October, Ford had the best retail sales in two years! Yes overall sales will be down but who cares, in this economy retail up=alright! I think we can thank gas prices going down, btw paying $1.96 here!

I thought this was going to about an ad campaign to get former Ford owners back.
Yeah, that's what I thought.

In fact, what irritates me is that GM didn't follow through on their Road to Redemption ads. I thought they'd have done quite well, showing folks GM was sorry for their mistakes while also highlighting new GM cars as well as their return to what made GM GM in the 50s and 60s.

Sometimes saying "Sorry" is enough to entice someone back. Detroit should try it and show that they've truly changed.
