Actually, I think it looks like the next Fusion. It has the same kinda big smile, three bar grille. But that may be a stretch.

The Fusion does not have a smily face. Those spy shots were just taken at a bad time. An engineer just pushed down the top bar, it would already have thin plastic because of it being a mule.

There was those long rumors of upcoming 2-door Fusion and a recent rumor then the next-gen Mazda 6 might have a 2-door coupe as well.

Then I'd like to see a Thunderbird revival, more successeful then the 2002 iteration with coupes probably back in resurgence, I think it could be a good timing. It might be a FWD model (with optionnal AWD system, ironically there was once some plans in the mid-1960s for a FWD T-bird to compete against the Olds Toronado but this project was avorted)

Thats another reason I say its a MkS coupe because it is way early to make a clay model for that model year. The car is to big to be a Fusion coupe. The front end says MkS, and the roof line is most likely a coupe because of the slant.

Shot in the dark: Sable.
I was thinking the same thing.

It is not a Thunderbird... the Thunderbird models would not be in a FWD studio.

MKS coupe? Don't count on it.

Sable, assuming it makes the cut for MY2010, would be in a Taurus design studio.

Only one thing, this is also the Mustang design studio. Look behind the Taurus you can see the roof of the Mustang on a poster.
