actually a lot of us DO know why:
to do it & make a profit takes the time to gear up for NA production...
...since their brain-transplant (MkF then Mr.M) they're working nite&day to get the C2 over here for 4/10

Part of the appeal for the Focus for me was the roominess that comes with a taller roofline and higher driving position. It is hard to make it look lower when it is tall. I bet it has 7 in on the Cobalt.

I agree with that. It's nice to have a small car with headroom. I just wish it looked a little better.

Doesn't do much for me. Anything, rather.

Exterior oddities aside I can handle, I can't bear the interior of that car. Ford's gauges, for some reason, are ungodly difficult for me to read.

That, and things like deleting the telescopic steering wheel...was a step backwards.

I've heard of people moving forward, but not backwards.

I find myself not liking this thing either even w/just 2doors. The interior...esp. the dashboard is hideous. The center stack is just awful!
Then again, this is just a stopgap til they can get the next gen "global" Focus here.
I surely hope it looks ALOT better than this rubbish thing.
