From an article discussing if GM and Ford can survive;
"The crisis is affecting Detroit's upper echelons as well. The Ford family fortune has been mostly destroyed. Nine years ago, the family's special Class B shares were worth $2.25 billion. Now, they're worth less than $189 million, The Detroit News reports."
Didnt Henry Ford hind alot of money for this reason? or at least thats the myth. But the Family also owns the Lions and other investments so they should be fine.

:lmao: hahaha "Shares of GM, which plummeted last week, rose sharply on Monday on prospects of accelerated government aid or a merger to help it survive. Ford shares ended 20 percent higher after emerging from the weekend as the healthiest of the three distressed Detroit manufacturers. Chrysler is privately held and controlled by Cerberus Capital Management [CBS.UL]."
