Does the DIC/Radio in my 2007 Malibu have any kind of way of seeing extra info, like a test mode or something that shows more detailed info via pushing a combination of buttons?

Bump? Anyone know?

I know certain Fords have hidden "engineering" modes in their late model cars that can give a digital speedometer and tach among other special settings. And I think I remember reading something about the Astra having a special mode where you could see the exact engine temperature.
