Early look: 2010 Ford Taurus illustrated

Has anyone compared this to MKS to see exactly how close they will be now? A loaded Taurus may be in the running for my next vehicle.

c'est tres bland.

It looks fantastic compared to the current version. Definately an infusion of their European styling. It this is how it winds up coming out, they have made a great decision.

I haven't but, I do see a strong resemblance. The new Taurus will be a formidable car, much like how it was way back in '86.

Looks 100 times bette then the current model! Hopfully its RWD with an optional AWD!

Not impressed! It's nice but I was hoping for better. Of course it's too early to make a judgement but it's very bland IMO. I hope the interior is really awesome.

It wouldn't take much to make it look impressive when compared with the current model.....(hell, even my '93 looks better!!)

From the looks of things though......an EPII & Mondeo went out one night, got drunk and had their unholy way with a Falcon....

The photo looks better than in the rendering... by a lot. It looks like a more beautiful Passat... Wow.

Clearly FWD GMusa, if you look at the photo. I would have said from the drawing that it had a fair resemblance to the new FG Falcon but seeing the photo there isn't much there. Just a slight similarity in the nose, but the Taurus has clearer character lines.

Wow... it looks good in real life. I think even better than the Malibu... yeah yeah, I know they are in a different class, but still. Chevy doesn't have anything close to this visually.

Chevy now has a clear target to hit with the next Impala. Being prettier than the Crapalon is not hard, but topping this will take some great design work. Malibu let's us know GM is more than up to the task.

I think its good looking. The real pic @ Edmunds looks better than the drawing. Not sure why so many are calling it bland. I guess they haven't seen the current model.

Reminds me too much of a Hyundia in the front. Fix that and Ford may have something here.
