1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, and the front left turn signal constantly burns out. I know this is a common problem because I have seen many Intrigues on the road with burnt out signal lights. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this issue?

Have the light socket checked. My Intrigue had a bad socket and replacing it fixed the problem.

I concur with iamwin...the sockets tend to short out...

I wonder...has anyone ever tried LED bulbs in those with any sucess???

I don't know if it will work or not, but what kills those sockets on the DRL's is heat....and if the LED's don't have the heat...well-good show!

the LED bulb you would have to do in both sockets, depends primarily how its set up. if it works on opposing voltages then a normal bulb and a LED will probably not work.

so with those you need to make sure both sides of the circuit are equal. but i dont know how the circuit is set up.

personally i dont have any experience with the LED conversions so i couldnt tell you either way, but i love the way they look, just expensive when they fail, like on caddy's and what not, stock LED is good, not sure on aftermarket.
