GM could take a few clues from Dodge in how to name models.

Only Dodge could pull this off - not GM, not Ford.
Only Dodge is losing sales every year and is so desperate to find a new reason to sell a 20 year old, 20 year old Mercedes E Class

Starting at ~$80 grand, I'd rather have the CT5-V Blackwing.
ChryCo has put massive cash on the hood of these and still lose sales every year. You will not pay anywhere near that. $10/HP on the hood. That means The Jailbreak option would make it even cheaper!!

Camaro sales are not even close to the Challenger’s.

With or without wheels that fit in the fenders?
Easily within the fenders.

As awesome as the GT500 is it’s also a heavy car that no one tracks. It always crack me up when people who don’t own a car think it’s terrible because you wouldn’t choose it to take on a road course.

Literally no one drives any modern performance car anywhere near its capability on the street and they don’t drive them on a road course either because you will eat up $2500 in tires every weekend.

Go watch some local racing and see what classes are popular.

Where the modern performance cars excel at is putting a smile on your face by how much fun they are to drive. If you’ve never driven one you just won’t get it. That’s exactly what the Challenger excels at.

Making RWD cars so crappy they understeer, something only FWD cars do is your perfect Pontiac?

That's pretty weird...
Understeer is typical of all front engine cars with a front weight bias. I remember that from ol' Uncle Tom McCahill's many amusing test write-ups from a couple of years back.
Understeer. Yes we can!

You're bugging hard...they're not Camaros or Mustangs handling wise but they get the job done. They'll never set a laptime record at VIR, but 99.9999999999999% of Camaros and Mustangs never see VIR to exploit that advantage.
