That is tough, you'd need to see the original build sheet. On that sheet it would say "Pilot Build." Before they are sold they are retrofitted to production level, but still that means that basically the car was taken apart to update and may not have the "quality" of the plant process.Mr.Spin, how does one know what is a S2 car and what is a production ready car?
So you're absolutely 100% positive that none of the 50 Challengers produced this month are regular production cars? That is tough, you'd need to see the original build sheet. Yes, all 50 cars built so far are S2's. The production build was suppose to start on the 14th, but it did not. I think it MIGHT start on Monday, but I wouldn't count on it.So you're absolutely 100% positive that none of the 50 Challengers produced this month are regular production cars?
The VIN's on the Challenger S2's are all 28XX and 29XX.I'd get one of those for sure. Keep it 40 years and you can sell your Challenger VIN 1Bxxxxxx0004 for like $1 M at Barett-Jackson![]()
No one knows yet.So what are the prices for next year's Challengers?
The VIN's on the Challenger S2's are all 28XX and 29XX.
I think the production cars will start with VIN 0001 and then when they get to 28XX (they didn't start at 2800 for S2) they will jump to 29XX (they didn't end at 2999 for S2 either)OK but that is still about the earliest in the series no? Those are going to be very valuable if you can keep one in decent shape, especially with the "executive history". It'd be like a super-COPO![]()
Can't wait for that. For now let's see some more spy pics :clap:The Camaros will be heading down the same highway soon as well. Stay tuned for pictures of those![]()
