in the new Chevy commercial.....the 66 Chevelle SS driving along side the car carrier???? Is it me or is that a hidden message? I mean GM trademarked the Name Chevelle last year. I just found it very interesting that Chevy put a Chevelle in the commercial.Maybe something is coming down the path????

hmm... I wouldn't be surprised if we get a Chevelle in a few years, but I think the Chevelle in the commercial was just intended a link to a successful past. If you think about it, what else would a car driving beside the carrier be? It has to be GM, and it needs to be old. Any new car would be expected to drive up on the carrier. I suppose it could have been from another GM brand, but that just makes things complicated. The Chevelle was a successful Chevy car that's been out of production for quite a while. -- it just makes sense.

I think it would have been cool to have them riding in a boring mid-90's Camry, looking out their windows at the cool new Chevies...
