I think that a few of you are undermining California's importance in the automotive industry here in the states. What happens in Cali generally speaking is going to happen in the rest of the country, with a few exceptions. The problem is you guys (and gals) are getting upset with the article instead of Detroit. Sarah isn't simply making things up, Detroit manufacturers dropped the ball and are just now trying to pick it up. Whenever you pick up one of your favorite car mags and check out a new custom ride its almost always located in California, think of all the tuners located on the west coast, think of all the design studios in California, think of all the influencial people that live in California. To say that California doesn't matter is a foolish mistake that GM, Ford & Chrysler cant afford to make again.
