Didn't think a rendering like this would take too long to come out. I know the guys in Cadillac definitely want to do a V version of the coupe. Very high likelihood there will be one. One word sums it up: insane! :)

GM steals the plans for the AMC Javelin update from the 1970's and calls it CTS Coupe. GM should be embarrassed for such a pathetic ripoff of another company's work. Typical GM - don't lead - just steal - plagiarize - follow.

That car is so stunning it will make people looking for a large coupe dish out an additional $15,000 over a Challenger to get a more upscale car, even if it has less power.

+1 however if we couldn't have the additionnal 15000$, the Challenger will be a good consolation prize :drive:

the way I look more to the CTS/CTS-V coupe, it look like a modern reincarnation of the 1968-70 AMC AMX

That's exactly it. I was trying to put a finger on it because it looks like nothing else we have seen for years, yet there is something familiar to me. Now I know what it was!

The renderings are fine, and it's going to be a killer machine, but I'm confident there are a few people on this site who could do an even better job of rendering a CTS-V Coupe!
you haven't see the full resolution pics.... this coupe is about as accurate as you're going to get as everything that made this a CTS-V Coupe was taken from the 09 CTS-V Sedan ...

I'm also working on a convertible right now for them and that article should be posted early next week.

and this is from a member here on GMI and the guy who did these chops for Edmunds... one in the same :D

Let's calm down here people. All they did was add the V series mesh grill inserts. Ooooo. Where's the aggressive bodykit? Doesn't look aggressive enough to me. : / For me the BMW M3 is still the quintessential sport coupe. Its got the looks, the handling, the refinement. The BMW also looks like it would be easier to see out of, kinda important. Caddy is on the right track though, its not down and out by any means. Can't wait to see the finished product.

actually no.... entire front clip, hood, rockers, and rear facias are all unique for the V...
