So I heard anyway.

Unless something unforeseen happens my boy and I will fire up the Vacationer and take a run out to have a look around.
Just getting the camera battery charged up now .......

Very nice. The Diamond Silver colour was really unusual, looking more like polished metal than a paint job. The C60 looks a lot shorter and lower than a VE sedan, yet 60mm is supposedly the length difference.

Yes, they started it so we could "hear the Lions Roar".

It looks pretty sweet but I think it might be one of those cars that loses a lot once it's released. It's unrealistically low and all that black plastic along the bottom would look horrible if the car was raised to U.S. standards.

^^^ Thanks for contributing.

Thanks for the pics RedVee8. I really love the look of that little spoiler, just like the ally one on the HRT 427. No other purpose than its title suggests (which is kind of ironic because it probably will never need it). :D

How did it sound when they fired it up?

Pretty nice mate.
Funny though they asked a kid the same question (over the PA) and he said "it's too quiet"....

A good type of kid gets out to All Holden Day!!!!

And I agreed, it could have been louder! But nice tone, they had a theme of "Lions Roar" and it seemed they were trying to emulate a Lions Roar with it, or maybe you hear anything after it has been suggested?????

Im tired of all these Holden concept thats never ever going to be produced. Holden simply doesnt have the balls that it once had during the Peter Hanenberger era.

"After discovering that the prototype Holden Monaro had been built by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated Holden engineers in their free time, Hanenberger encouraged the development of the prototype into production-readiness, and sought out export markets to guarantee the car's production."

Too much scrutiny from NA now.

He certainly had 'that vision thing' in spades

Under his tutelage Holden was stronger than it had been at any time since the early 1970s
