Jan Magnussen has driven Corvette Racing to the top of the GT Le Mans class pole for this weekend's Rolex 24, beating the Ford GT by a narrow margin.

The Corvette qualified with a time of 1:42.779, a minuscule 0.019 seconds ahead of Joey Hand. Magnussen will co-drive alongside Mike Rockenfeller and Antonio Garcia during IMSA's twice around the clock season opener.

Oliver Gavin qualified the sister Corvette in sixth with a 1:43.453, after providing a nice tow for Magnussen. Gavin will pair with Tommy Milner and Marcel Fässler; the trio teamed to win the Rolex 24 in 2016.
