Corvette Styled Malibu?

I did this quick chop to see how the Corvette's styling could transfer to a midsized car like Malibu.

Given I posted it in the thread on the subject as it was winding down I've posted it here so other members can see it and comment on how they think a Corvette style Chevy Range might be accepted.

Thanks to GMI member tripowergto for posting the pic of his lovely 2014 'Vette next to his father's '62.

It reminds me of a Dart for some reason.

Overall, not bad.

you are good. If chevrolet can pull something like that into their showrooms, they would be able to make some transactions.

Well done. Looks like a Baby Panamera, which is exactly what Porsche did (911 -> Panamera).
It looks good...perhaps if you have time you can expand upon it?

An SS or Impala styled like a C7 would be pretty sweet.

I like it. I'm not sure if Malibu would be the best example though. If GM were to borrow this heavily from the C7, a full-size RWD flagship Chevy sedan or an additional Corvette model (towards making Corvette its own line) would be the way to go.
It's nice but people would complain that it has too much of Corvettes design in it.
The profile kind of reminds me of the Tesla S.
Certainly compelling, couldn't sell worse than the current Malibu, would give room for the Impala and fills the need of something other than Camaro for a "sporty" car.

I think this looks a lot like a Nissan Z, a 2-Door version, which should also be made, would even more-so.

The Impala is already one of GM's best-looking cars.

C7, Camaro, and Impala are some of their very best.

I was expecting a corvette styled Malibu to look similar to Fisker Karma :

OHHH. Yes, they do and would.

For some reason I was confusing Z, two door, four door... I wasn't sure what you meant. Sorry.
Yup both are cars with 4 doors, 4 wheels, and are red. Styling wise i don't see the similarities.
