After a string of tough races for Pratt & Miller's pair of C7.Rs, the team was back on the leading pace after a favorable BoP update prior to the Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Both the No.4 of Oliver Gavin and Tommy Millner, and the No.3 of Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia came home in P2 and P3 in class, respectively.

Garcia put the No.3 on pole during Saturday's qualifying session, while the No.4 started from back in sixth place.

Magnussen who drove the opening stint, spent a good chunk of the race's first half comfortably in the lead before handing off to Garcia with 57 minutes to go. Milner would leap frog the No.3 by pitting one lap earlier and taking advantage of his warmer Michelins while Garcia was on his outlap.

Milner was charging hard after the leading No.67 Ford GT, who splashed and dashed, cutting an 11 second lead down to 5 seconds before a full course yellow brought the proceedings to a close.

Gavin and Milner see their championship lead shrink to just five points over Westbrook and Briscoe in the No.67 Ford.
