Take the picture below and modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc...

The changes can be serious or silly. The changes don't have to make the car more desirable, they just have to make it different.

You are showing off your creativity and your chopping skills.

You must use the original picture as your starting point. Try to keep some semblance of the original pic.

You can make up to 2 entries! But if you do, they have to be significantly different from each other. Please send me final copies only. NO revisions after entry. Once you've entered, that's your entry.

If more than 20 entries are received, I might not use "2nd" entries. So please indicate which one you prefer, in case of that scenario.

Chopping is anonymous!:

Do NOT post your images here in this thread. Instead, E-mail them to: [email protected].
Do not send a link to the picture. Send the picture itself. Please send it in JPG format. Please do not write your name anywhere in your picture.
In your e-mail (but not your picture) please include your user name, even if you think that I know who you are.

You have until Thursday at Midnight to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away. Quality takes time. Voting will start on Friday.

Same rule in effect. If you enter, you MUST vote. Contestants that do not vote will be penalized.

Here's the pic to modify:

I'm not participating unless you get a photo with a better angle(Basically,
I'm not participating).

How is a dead on sideways angle not good? I do have to give the occasional "easier" angle for some of the people not as good as the pros to work with. If you don't want to participate, there's no reason to tell the world. Just don't.

What angle do you WANT to work with?
You haven't exactly done too well in the last contests.

Hi Diesel,

There is still nearly a week to run on the monthly comp, of which you only have one entry. Why not find a 3D pic you like of the Epica and make a Chrysler version of it for your second entry in that comp.

As to Rex's point, I remember when I started out I couldn't do any chops unless they were head-on or side on. For beginners, like we were once, they need that practice to build up skill and confidence to try a 3D pic.

Besides, any pic can be a challenge if you simply try to do something really extra special with it.

;)

Re: Current Contest #142: Epica

Okay, I've decided to take on the challenge. I might not be the best photo-shopper, but I seem to be getting better, I got more votes last week than before. Sorry, I was in a bad mood yesterday. I've already come up with the idea, I'm working on it now. Thx for the advice

Re: Current Contest #142: Epica

good you came round diesel, i define beginner when it comes to chopping(as shown by my sub-par chops) but side on should make it a bit easier, even though the pros will still be able to one-up. This car is pretty dam boring... not ugly... just not interesting like those big overhangs the designs as risky as wearing socks... hope someone makes it look worthy of any GM badges

I agree, this is not the best pic of the V250 I have seen. It is a much nicer car than that, plus a photo showing the front fascia would allow people to do the obvious thing - turn it into a Buick!
