They know jack about toasters, washing machines, fridges, computers and ironing boards too.

Technology is all changing SO fast that the fact that last years (toasters, washing machines, fridges, computers or ironing boards) was Great tells you NOTHING about a companies latest offering..

CR was pumping Maytag fridges and washers YEARS after everyone knew there products were total crap... LOTS and LOTS of examples of this over the years. Your better off to Google the item you are considering and do your OWN homework.

I was not going to post on this thread, but Memorial Day delayed the creation of my next Consumer Reports thread, which should be up and running on this site on Wednesday.

Anyway. Notice what they say in the article:

"Consumer Reports says as soon as it found out about the problem it moved to alert consumers and withdrew the article from its Web site."

When in fact Consumer Reports claimed in the article they pulled, that they (Consumer Reports) was the group that tested the car seat. At the stated 30 miles per hour! FRAUDS!!!

I agree. I think 'PMC' has an altirer motive being on GMI. His avitar of Sinatra 'The Chairman of the Board' is a clue. He seems suspicious to me.
