I had a new Chrysler 200 as a rental a months ago, I noticed the Detroit skyline in the storage area under the gear selector knob. It was a nifty touch. Overall I was very impressed with the car, outside and especially inside, the interior was extremely well thought out. Someone sweated the details with the controls in particular, they were intuitive (unlike the disaster than is the Ford Fusion). The V6 in it was also a lot of fun.
The rental companies clean their cars? Fancy that. You could have fooled me.
Avis sure never does in any time I rented one of their cars (15 times in the last 6 months). And Enterprise wins in my book as the filthiest cars of them all (since their cars seem to be the oldest any time I've rented from them). I've yet to get a respectably clean car from any rental company unless it's rather new from the factory.
