"Maloo" is Aboriginal for "Thunder"... Quite appropriate for that car!

Depends which mob (they don't have tribes just mobs) it is from. It means thunder supposedly but I haven't been able to find out which mob it is from. In the language of one mob malu (short U) supposedly means testicle - probably just as appropriate as you need them to drive one quickly!
