For its lineup of full-size trucks and SUVs at this year’s SEMA Show, Chevrolet focused on bringing some premium elements and added versatility into the mix

The Silverado High Desert Concept builds on the High Country-trim truck which already offers a plush interior. Outside, a chrome grille with horizontal chrome bars, halogen projector headlamps and body-color front and rear bumpers are fitted. Under the hood there is 6.2-liter V8 that offers 420 hp, while Brembo six-piston front brake calipers, performance brake pads and 16-inch slotted rotor are fitted.

The big story here though comes in the bed. Chevy has designed a three piece tonneau cover for the truck along with installing a bed divider that offers a partition for separating gear, and a small cargo space underneath. The big news here though is the side storage bins that are lockable and come complete with a drain plug, mimicking the Ram Box system.

Alongside the High Desert Concept, Chevy brought along the Silverado Polaris Ace Concept, which features a unique graphics scheme that carries over from the truck onto a Polaris Ace UTV that is sitting in the bed.

As for its SUVs, the American company brought both the Tahoe and Suburban Premium Outdoors concepts. Both SUVs feature the same Brembo brakes from the Silverado, a 6.2-liter V8 and body-colored door handles and front fascia. The Tahoe is finished in Black Ice paint while the interior is fitted with Saddle-colored appointments and contrasting blue piping.

The Suburban is painted in Pepperdust finish on the outside, and gets a leather-trimmed Saddle and Cocoa-colored interior. The coolest part of this concept however is the custom tailgating package that features a big-screen smart HDTV and a handcrafted table and benches made of wood salvaged from deconstructed Detroit homes.
