I was thinking Outlook body. But Equinox and Outlook have very similliar body lines. Thats why I always thought it would be easy to have a Chevy rebadge from the Outlook and change up the front. Then cancel the Saturn and give them the minivan along with a diff chevy minivan. That way we dont have 4 large crossovers. 3 is enough. Just thought I would post my thoughts, But kinda usless now that we know no one is getting a minivan.

Due to a programming error on my part only the Van concept will be shown. If i can manage to pull the CUV from my old hard drive I will post it at a later time. This came to me after I had finished my chop for the contest. Why not capitalize on the Equinox's success by applying its looks to a larger CUV. Taking the Lambda platform and essentially stretching the Equinox over it this is what I came up with. I did add some other little touched to the car trying to make it upscale, but realizing my price point removed most of those features. After working on the CUV it eventually turned into the van you will see.


The van henceforth known as Astro would be one of two vans based on Lambda the other going to an as yet unnamed brand.

The Astro would be available in two main trims and then four sub-trims in both main trims. The first trim would just be Astro and the secondary would be Astro Uplander. The difference being the ride height and suspension geometry.

The Astro will come standard with the 3.8L V6 and 4 speed auto The 3.9L V6, the 3.6L DOHC V6, the 3.6L DMH V6, and finally the 5.3L V8 will all be available in other models. 2009.5 will bring on the SS and the 6.0L V8.

Pricing has yet to be determined.

Nice and aggressive. I would like to see a change in the grill area though. Maybe a Tahoe or Silverado type grill.

I fought with that grille for two days on the truck version and I could not think of anything that would make it more masculine.
