Someone asked me this morning if I knew whether or not GM was planning a coupe for the new Chevy Cruze.

I replied that I had no idea, but that it would certainly be a candidate for strong sales if past sales were any indication.

A quick search on google turned up the photo representation below.

Question: If GM were to product a Chevy Cruze two door version - should it be a coupe or hatchback?

I'd go with a hatchback myself but why not offer more variants?

why not just make everyone happy? If car is a success GM should produce it as follows:

4 Door Sedan
2 Door Coupe
2 Door Convertible
4 Door Hatch (and/or 2 door hatch if enough interest)

Cavalier had all of these bodies styles produced so why not the Cruze.

The Cav also had an honest to goodness wagon at one point too



so how about a Cruze Sportstourer?
