  • 4200 ORDER SHIPPED
  • 4300 INTERMEDIATE DELIVERY

I have explained this a few times in the past but it does confuse a lot of people. Its also one of the few times the codes can jump back. 4300 is used when vehicles have outside accessories from the factory best example the sprayed in bedliner.once thats done it returns to 4200 its ready and sent to the rail yard. The real code you want is the next one 4800 its at the railyard and loaded on the train headed to your dealers local distribution facility.

How did it go backwards?
Was 4300 with a tentative 4/11 delivery
Who told you it was 4300? This is speculation the truck could have been built missing some component missing semiconductors it was shipped to get a sprayed in bedlier and brought back to the factory. Because its missing the semiconductors its not ready to ship 4200 so its sitting in a factory holding yard waiting for the chips 3800. Or someone told you wrong. The system is not really set to handle the shortage of chips so we may see some backslides.
