Chevrolet Bolt Production Confirmed for Detroit

Chevrolet has confirmed will add another electric vehicle to its lineup.

The American automaker announced plans to produce the Bolt at its Orion Assembly facility near Detroit. Introduced in concept form at the Detroit Auto Show and according to GM North America President Alan Batey, the overwhelming response was to 'build it.' As a result, the company is moving quickly 'because of its potential to completely shake up the status quo for electric vehicles,' Batey said.

I sure hope it looks close to the concept because it's a really great looking small car. BMW wishes that the i3 looked this good.

I think this is a much better looking car than the i3 and hope that GM keeps the concepts good looks. That orange color is killer. :eek:
I drive a Volt and when my lease is up I'll most likely get the 2016 Volt. I love it.
However, I just can't see myself getting a 100% electric vehicle. Range anxiety would be the death of me.
