It's interesting to note that GM actually trademarked "High Desert" last month...maybe that package is heading for production?
Probably. It's their best Silverado concept and I'm a big fan of the wheels.

Why does every press photo of the Colorado have bicycles in the bed? We get it, it's a lifestyle truck... talk about overkill. Next thing you know, they'll be bowtie motifs all over the interior.

The Tahoe Premium Outdoors concept looks good in that color, as does the Suburban.

Tahoe looks like Dark Adriatic, and the Suburban color I'd like to see reach production. In the press photos it's reminiscent of Moonlight Silver by BMW and some Bentley colors... assuming it's a semi-pearlescent kind of silver rather than just another shade of tan.

Besides those and the Commemorative Camaro badge, everything else sucks and is boring.

It would be a lot easier to stick it in the bed of a Silverado or Sierra like done on the SEMA vehicle than an SUV.
Sierra Denali should get a hardwood bed floor option. I said it.

And for the record, the trucks should have been the slightest bit more innovative, like the (first) Cheyenne concept.

2016 is on the way, and still no real variants worth writing home about...

Will we see the Ace Frehley Sonic at next year's SEMA?
arg arg arg

Speaking of Sonics, I would really like to see a production Rally Sonic and a real Z-Spec to compete with the Fiesta ST.

If the Cruze is relegated to mature buyers, Chevrolet's got to have something for the less mature. Sonic has spent almost an entire lifecycle grossly underutilized and unexploited.

That would be cool with the Emerald Green color.
The trim on the High Desert vaguely looks like a faux wood veneer in the med res photos, it's what reminded me of it.

I think it looks great. Way better than High Country.

So why not a lowered, "special handling package" truck? Either Silverado or Colorado sized?
My ZQ8 Sonoma was one of the most fun vehicles I've owned.
How about a smashed Silverado drift truck? Or just a slammed Silverado? Call it the Dumped Truck.

That's what people want to see at SEMA, not tape packages. People eat that kind of stuff up.
