Dude I get your point and I wish everyone on the planet earth drove a Chevy. That cheapass Neon is one hell of a buy for 19 grand. They are selling a hell of a lot of them so someone gets it. It is not just about horsepower, look at the specs for that car, that car handles and breakes with the best of them for that kind of money. My point is, Chevy/GM is perfectly capable of matching or exceeding the SRT-4 and and any Chevy fan should expect that.
i think maybe i get your point now too! apparently there IS a market for the SRT-4... and there's no reason (or excuse) GM can't be in it. SS'll be a start... lets see what they do with it!

on an unrelated note, what do you think the odds are on a kappa-based rear-engine fiero replacement? hahaha! well a guy can dream, can't he?!?
It's on the way it's called the Solstice but I want that Chevy NOMAD really bad.

well i GUESS the solstice will do... but with some cutting and pasting can't they stick the motor in the back? actually, to truly honour the fiero memory, they'd have to use the aveo platform (citation for the new millenium)!
hmmmm... would a cobalt convertible be out of the question? are there any delta convertibles? would the platform lend itself to going topless? as chevrolet is full-line, it might not hurt to have a convertible slotted below the corvette and SSR (for those of us on a slightly smaller budget). or is GM hoping the solstice/G6 will grab the sun-seekers?

(note: i posted this in another thread, but this thread makes more sense.)
thw interior looks so much better than the exterior. But a good all around car!
Its ok I guess, it follows the uglyness of most other new Chevy cars with the grill, whats the Horse power like?
