Could you possibly give it dual headlights?
You'd have to reduce the silver part that is above/behind the headlights so its smaller. Something like this.

I agree, I was thinking you used the VW Iroc concept for your Chevette chop here, too. The tip off was the color of the car. Again, which I like.
