Just letting members know that there will be some pretty big changes coming to GMI, and they will debut October 20th to celebrate our three year anniversary. We have some great things planned that will fortify our place as the #1 GM news site.

If anyone has anything they would like to see, please post here!

Love this website even if i'm not a GM aficiando. I woudl recommend that the main page (home page, whatever you call it) have fewer graphics so that the page doesn't take so long to load (I assume it is due to that animated header). I use cable internet and this site takes a while to download even with that fast connection. Otherwise, I cannot think of a thing that you don't have that I miss. BTW, I think this is one of the five best auto websites I visit daily.

most know me as a GM hater, which i'm not really. i am a car nut who thinks GM is capable of better. (Velite, Solstice, and Holden are great examples) this is a great site, and whatever you plan on doing, keep the core the same, as it's awesome the way it is. thanks for the good work boys!

Maybe something where you can log in the main page :rudolph:
Yah for those of us who rather have a white chocolate macadamia instead of a GMI cookie. Oh yah, could we have some spy shots? This is as bad as waiting for a new car model. The all GMI is coming...... in October! :p

On your 'News Ticker' could you possibly add a second page to it, like an archive? I know that you move the stories to the individual brands or Forums, such as if it is Buick or Chevy news. But quite often you have a day or two where a quite a few stories are added to the 'News Ticker' and the one I was following has been moved and I can't find it.

Maybe on the bottom of the 'News Ticker' and a branch to a second page where the stories continue. Maybe archive up to 20 or 50 stories. That would be helpful.

thx Rob

aka 'New_Mexico'

thanks. This is probably on of the best 'car sites' or 'GM sites' on the web. I check first thing when I come in in the morning, and check periodically throughout the day.

Cool. I feel like I am on the cusp of everything automotive. I'll have a beer for the "blue bow tie". here, here ...

Hoepfully Detroit can survive and we'll something to discuss in the future.

<_<

First off, that's my dad's birthday.
We have some great things planned that will fortify our place as the #1 GM news site.
Secondly, I'm hoping by you saying this that this means we will be getting some really great inside news!!

ha! love the new rankings! very fitting! turbo V6 eh? not too shabby! hahaha!

have you ever considered a "post of the day" or "post of the week" on the homepage? not sure if any brilliant (or not so brilliant) posts ever catch your attention, but sometimes there are some (usually ming!) that deserve a pedestal. the sites great though.

If it's not too late to make a suggestion: may I suggest that the large field of moving "Clickable Smilies" that pops up when you are composing a post is really distracting and irritating?

I have nothing against smilies, but the moving ones are very annoying. Lose 'em, I say.
