Hello I am new here. :) I am doing a study on cars and want to know.. can the new Cheverolet/GM cars play CD/RWs on their factory CD players?

an '03 vibe can. and of course the songs were all downloaded legally and paid for :)

Sometimes it depends more on the media than on the reader.
Black and Blue might read better than green and silver (and vice versa)

It might depend on the qaulity of the burner too...

I use Phillips and Sony CD-+R's only, the rest don't work very good in my opinion ;)

;) I have used the no name brands in the Trailblazer and they work. Only problem is they dont stand up to scratches well. The black and blue perform well. But overall not a problem. Older delco radios do have some issues with them but they would not read some cds out of the store. :krider:

Just to make sure.. you guys are talking about CDRWs are okay and not just CDRs right? Thx.

CD-R's will play in basically any GM car, CD-RW's however will not, usually the GM cars with MP3 capability will play CD-RW's
My '97 GTP plays CD-RW's with the factory cd player.
