Why should the DTS/Deville go "up against" this competition? The big Caddy seems to do very well right now. In 2003, the Deville sold 82,076 units in the US....which is more than the BMW 7-Series (20,473), Mercedes-Benz S-Class (22,940), Audi A8 (4,090), Jaguar XJ (10,102), Infiniti Q45 (2,440), and the Lexus LS430 (23,895)...COMBINED! Apparently, RWD or AWD is NOT expected in this class of car.Originally posted by 91fairladyZ@Apr 27 2004, 09:08 PM
The reason I feel the DTS should be either all wheel drive or rear wheel driven, is that if it's going up against the 7 series, A8, S class etc. then it's going to have to have at least 320 to 350 HP. All wheel or rear wheel drive is also expected in this class of car.
