Look what I found........
It was in this youtube video Cadillac posted:
I like this fashion-conscious, dark side-theme image Cadillac is going for. I would like to see them do that for their ads on the ATS and CTS.
If these are the primary competition, Cadillac has a winner here in the new SRX.
Probably so. The current RX sells about twice the SRX's sales in volume, and both are being redesigned. The RX is more radical for the product, whereas the SRX is improving on what it is/should be. I think the Lexus will continue to outsell the Cadillac easily, but if Cadillac can hold sales while improving ATPs smartly, it's a net win. Plus they can offer things like the LF3 which Lexus is unlikely to attempt to match. As for the Lincoln, the MKX has sold at what, half the Cadillac's sales? I don't really expect that to change, but similar to the Cadillac they're successful if they can hold sales while increasing ATPs. And Lincoln definitely seems poised to do that, given the optional twin-turbo engine and Black Label options. Neither will probably sell in huge volume, but they're still going to increase ATPs while improving image without costing much to conduct. Another similar option might be the GLC, which is a bit smaller though still relatively roomy I assume. Like the MKX and SRX it is going heavy on the luxury instead of sport, and its interior will be challenging to equal. The SRX already sells in greater numbers within the US, though I wouldn't be surprised to see GLC sales surpass GLK sales based on its luxury and cleaner style. And of course globally the Lexus, Lincoln, and Cadillac are unlikely to rival the GLC. But Cadillac can do well in markets like China and the ME, and that's a start!
They're grasping at straws because they look stupid for having a knee jerk reaction to unofficial pictures, and don't want to admit that it looks pretty sensational!
Why can't people just respect that everyone has a different opinion? It always has to be so personal.
