There's something "wrong" with the car itself. IT looks like they took an ELR and extruded it up and added a set of doors.
As with all Cadillacs seemingly, the front is fine, the sides and rear look like ****. The shield theme in the rear is a bit on the nose, I think.

I certainly hope the interior doesn't have that "Sponsored by Chevron" look the Escalade has. I expect a derivative of the CT6. Which means I'll think it's OK, and you'll hate it. lol

This is "better" than the outgoing SRX simply because the SRX looks cheap and never looked upscale in any way, shape or form. At least XT5 looks upscale. Whether or not it pulls off this look is to the eye of the beholder.
I don't think the XT5 looks upscale at all. It is devoid of elegance and has an overall cheapness to its proportions. It is very much like the XTS in that it cannot hide its commodity car platform.

U know what is weird? Not just here, but all over the web... Who would think that a brand such as Cadillac ..a brand that is supposed to be so damaged... would get so much attention with every release that it does? Including this one.

I don't think the new "Quasimodo " from Bentley got this much attention
I think that's because the American people still fervently want Cadillac to win. They want the home team to go kick the Europeans to the curb. I know that is how I feel. I may not always mindlessly cheer them on but I am absolutely always rooting for them over everything that comes across an ocean.
