I'm chuckling just a bit at some of my Brother/Sister members posts.

How often do I read that Cadillacs need to be "Bold" or "Brash", or both.

Then I read that the XT5's grille is too big.

Night and day improvement versus the current SRX. I highly approve.

Now, the real question is... how will it be priced, comparatively?
Others disagree, but I'd like to think it will be priced very close to the current car. The SRX has been very successful and now Cadillac needs something for all those buyers (many of whom are new to Cadillac!) to trade for.

You beat me to it. The usual 4-6 whiners who won't admit that it's actually very attractive, as they don't want to look impetuous.
Perhaps so.

But the XT5 is a FWD vehicle and there's no hiding it. I'm not saying this is axiomatically bad, but the proportional possibilities of a RWD vehicle are definitely superior (in my opinion, anyway).

That said, the market doesn't seem to much care about this and they buy vehicles like the XT5 in large numbers, considerably larger than the RWD counterparts.

If Cadillac gets a larger, car-based crossover I hope it's built on a RWD Platform.

You know quite a few RWD based Crossovers have very small area between the door and front wheel well that looks similar to a FWD based vehicle. Don't believe me? Go check you'll see I'm correct and you've never noticed it.
Whoa, I wasn't insulting anything. Just sayin'.

Every one is entitled to their own opinion I guess. Me personally. . I think the CTS is so much better looking than that Jellybean in your avatar
Don't bother. Harry always has SOME reason for not liking a Cadillac. I doubt he would ever seriously consider one.
