Damn it! I shouldn't have read that while drinking coffee. You made me spill the whole cup.

Shiseido's is a fairly high end product. I do use them.
Though, I've never really noticed any significant marketing outside a department store.

How's the Cadillac European assault going? How many Cadillac coffee houses are there in the EU now?
Le Car. Melody cribbed an old Renault model name and calls it her own. Brilliant.

Unfortunately i don't see Cadillac having any success in Europe with present offerings. Very low image of the brand, not existing service network, engine choice not suitable for markets.
It seems it is always "too little too late" with Cadillac. Maybe they are planing full invasion after they get more full electric vehicles and hoping competition doesn't offer any :D

Cadillac and their top-level strategists. Foreign or local, they are as miserable as East-European nationalistic politicians. No long-term planning, 0 responsibility.

But, I don't want to build traditional dealerships all over the Continent because I don't think they are the future of automotive retailing. I once said in an interview that the future of automotive retail is not bricks and mortar. It didn't go down where it was laid up. But I was serious because the future is digital probably. The future is probably [new-car] pickup and delivery service. ... Nobody wants to go to a dealership for service and maintenance.
Meanwhile, newest Lexus dealership in Warsaw city I often visit in business.

And this is GM's digital future. Opel dealer in the same city offering Cadillac/Corvettes/Camaros. The worst thing is they call themselves 'one and only official Cadillac/Corvette distributor'. Why does GM let them use this term at all??? They used to have around 10 cars on the lot. Frankly speaking they sold them quite quickly - especially the V8 Camaros and V6 XT5s. I e-mailed them about the CT5, I got reply 'we don't have it yet, but we have a nice white 2019 Camaro for You'. Future of automobile retailing at it's best. :fall:

Perhaps this was one of those "JUST YOUSE GUYS WAIT!!!" gigs from GM. Thread started in July of 2015. It's already The Day After Tomorrow.

Yea..some people probably have been waiting since 2000..:D:D:D..and are still waiting:D:D:D. But once Cadillac offer full lineup of its vehicle in Europe (probably 3 or 4 models) and more than 1 service/shops in every country they will come and say: "I told you so. All you have to do was wait" :D:D:D..maybe 2030:D

Wow! They do have one available model and even a national Cadillac web page in Italy ! (most countries don't have Cadillac web pages) Bravo Cadillac

In 95% of the EU markets it's extremely hard to find any evidence sb. actually offers any Cadillacs in those ****ty multi-franchise KIA/Suzuki/SsangYong multifranchise dealers. Outside of Germany I only found such a place in Latvia. Of course the picture is old and probably those logos don't hang there anymore. That doesn't stop GM from calling such companies 'Cadillac specialists' :zippy: Cadillac at full European assault !!!

And another comparison, somehow FCA can find dealers in Europe that organise good-looking showrooms. Most are in fact multifranchise stores but I haven't found any single one that looks like crap. Last not least - if they offer sth. on their web page, it means they sell&service cars. And all those Rams, Durangos, Challengers don't have four-bangers under their hoods but V8s. Unbelievable!
