Cadillac is still interested in making a V-Series wagon, according to its chief engineer, Brandon Vivian. Although he did not say that one would be built for certain, his comments open the possibility for a wagon variant of a CT5 in the future.

Vivian made the comments during an interview with Autoline where he admitted that he and his colleagues were considering CT5 variants. Asked specifically if there was any hope for a CT5 wagon, Vivian said:

"So, I will tell you I've been looking at that many, many, many times. We continue to look for opportunities to make money and I will continue to do that."

According to Vivian, V-Series customers will be an important factor in the decision to introduce a wagon.

"Nothing to announce right now," said Vivian. "But certainly when you see the enthusiasm of our customers and our V-Club members, there is an absolute fanaticism around the V wagons and wagons in general and you know, because of that, we continue to study a future variant."
