Sounds like a modern version of the old Cadillac Fleetwood 75 sedan and limo, the last factory made limousines, Cadillac could make some dough selling these to certain people.

I like the 445lb ft of torque, interesting that Cadillac is working on a 2500 Escalade, could it have been a Secret Sevice request? So that they have cars that match the Cadillac DeVille Presidential Limousine? Currently they use heavily armoured 2500 Suburbans and Yukon XL's.
