It just means GM is more confident they can make more power from a smaller Engine than BMW and they already have the Callaway GM powered V8 GT3 Corvettes.. which interestingly have not switched over to direct fuel injectionWhat's also interesting is that BMW went with the M6 as their next GT3 spec car.
