America's Sports car is back where it belongs. Small boys of all ages will begin asking the question,"Have you seen the new 'Vette?" again.
One can only hope that Chevrolet in particular, and GM as a whole can begin to deliver this kind of engineering, design magic and VALUE in all the segments of the business where it wishes to compete. Here's to the dedicated bunch that designed this new supercar. Congratulations GM. Looks like you have a winner on your hands. Somewhere, Zora and Bill are smiling. It's probably one of the few times they'd agree on anything.

Here's another point of view. The exterior looks great. Hints at the old Calloways in the hood, Ferrari headlights work here, and of course way better dimentions and Stingray style fenders look sharp. But the interior is dull dull dull. I'll reserve judgment on the quality until I see it, but the styling and percieved quality... just disappointing.

now why is it that GM can do THAT, but can't make a luxury car to compete with the germans? that is a hell of a car, and a worthy successor to the C5. very nice indeed. love the headlights.. pop-ups have finally gone away. the interior also looks like it's stepping away from the cheap-looking, rattle-prone, squeaky 'vette interiors of old, and will finally be the way it should be. awesome. :afro:

The Cadillac CTS seems to be holding its own against the BMW 3&5 series.
The new STS (Seville) is coming soon, and could do some damage as well.

I think one thing at a time...
