Hey does any one know if GM is going to extend there current buying incentive past Sept 2, 2008????

To answer your question, no dealership knows any facts. There are no rumors flying now either. Those lovely beancounters who run the company @ GM sure keep tight lips.
But, we wont know (officially) til Weds of next week.
Plenty of 08 inventory on 08 G8 V6's, Envoy, Sierra, Lucerne, LaCrosse.

Being as how I've seen a sales increase with employee discount but not nearly what it's going to take to get rid of the huge overstock of '08 trucks and suv's....
I'd say something better is coming down the pike. But if there is, GM is keeping the wraps on it for now.
The choice is do whatever it takes to clean out the '08's or shut down the plants building '09's. And it costs more to shut down plants than it does to take a loss on vehicles already built.
