I am just happy its hear, I really hope it sells well, I can't until Penske Indy gets one, I maybe the first to purchase it. After I have thought long about it, I guess GM would have been better off offering all those colors above, maybe different color interiors as well, the opting for chrome, silver, or black wheels, a Manual option, and lastly the LT1 with a 8 Speed. Here's all the colours we get not including the deep purple

Holden offers a blue, an orange, and a dark green, for example. And these colors are applied on the exact same assembly line that builds the Chevy SS. There's zero cost to allowing them to be selected. So, exactly what are the colors that are missing from the SS? I tried to look on Holdens site but it won't let me build a car for some reason......
The same cost it was in '05 when I bought my GTO. Not that I had to pay it since I got the manual.$1300 for the gas guzzler tax! WTF is up with that?
The Holden Commodore line has been offered in LHD for years. They even already badged it as a Chevy (Caprice) in the middle east.It all had to be converted to LHD again....
Most of the "what took so long?" has to do with the previous version, which was around and available for the entire time since the demise of the G8 in '09. It's been available as a LHD, and as a Chevy (for the middle east market) that entire time. It's even already been imported to the US as a Police car (only). Really, Holden didn't have to do anything to export some of those vehicles to the US, except put them on the boat. Now, 5 years later, a version finally shows up. That's definitely a case of, "What took so long?" to all the G8 fans. We're not so much complaining about the 9 months, as we are complaining about the 5 years.Dan, Ruess said that the whole color palette is available.
I know it's been offered in LHD but it doesn't change the fact that it still had to be engineered again and the car cane out three months ago. It's not a mystery as to why there is car is getting here now. GM should of just had the Impala in the Cup this year and SS next instead of debuting it in Jan. Still, 9 months isn't a huge amount of time as some are trying to complain about.
Not when you consider its basically a fully loaded four-door Camaro 2SS. (Try optioning up a 2014 Camaro 2SS with similar trim and options and compare the prices if you don't believe it.)way over priced.
One more reason for a manual! The same cost it was in '05 when I bought my GTO. Not that I had to pay it since I got the manual.
What did you expect? It's a 4 thousand something pound sedan with 400 plus horsepower.
Yeah, that's it, I'm all in love for the Camry, you nailed it. I call a spade a spade and eff'd-up half a$$ launch an eff'd-up half a$$ launch.Camry! Camry! For the love of god, won't someone please get this man a Camry!?!
Or you could take 3g's and throw them on the barbeque, it has about the same effect. Lets see dealer price for the wheels, plus the 184 months shipping time...plus shipping costs.....Couldn't you just have the black SS-V Redline wheels shipped over then? Or is our brake package different still?
That whole reply clearly states all my issues with this car. No manual when one was available with this engine in this platform, a gas guzzler tax, the same engine that was available back then when a more modern one that is stronger and more fuel efficient is available fron GM, etc.The same cost it was in '05 when I bought my GTO. Not that I had to pay it since I got the manual.

Yeah ok - you don't like the car the time it takes to get to you - we get it!Yeah, that's it, I'm all in love for the Camry, you nailed it. I call a spade a spade and eff'd-up half a$$ launch an eff'd-up half a$$ launch.
By the way, how many of these miracle machines arrived the other day? 5000? at least one for every Chevrolet dealer in the US? No...ok, so wake me up in 2015 when the next 4 arrive, yippeeeeeeeeee!

Thank goodness they limited the option choices, all those complicated builds and color choices, by the time it gets here your great great grandkids will be beaming down to the Chevy dealer to pick it up.
Holden has some great OEM wheel designs, the SS-V and Calais-V are by far my favourites.
