I just might be able to get me into a legal GS
But what would it take to get you into an illegal GS? ;)

Re: BUICK Simplifies Incentives: How About A Straight 20% Off List?

This seems just a little too good to be true.

So if the above is valid, then the following vehicle has a $10,820 factory incentive?

Hello what?

Add in a dealer discount (say 5%) of $ 2705.00 and a GM Card $1000 and you can possibly buy this $54,100 Buick for $39,575.00 or $ 14,525 off list?

How is that possible - even with limited numbers available???

MSRP Standard Vehicle Price $48,465.00
Installed Options Total $4,710.00
Power moonroof with rear fixed skylight $1,400.00
Power moonroof with rear fixed skylight
Buick IntelliLinkTM/Navigation/Rear Seat Entertainment $2,240.00
Trailering Package, 4500 lbs. $575.00
Ebony, Perforated Leather Seating Surface $0.00
Carbon Black Metallic $495.00
Destination Freight Charge $925.00
Total MSRP $54,100.00
I don't think the dealership will give you 5% off on top of the 20% off you're already getting. But otherwise, yeah. It can happen because GM has, generally, improved their transaction prices and steadily inched up their MSRPs. So they can offer incentives that seem dramatic but, hopefully, don't lose them any money.

Regardless, it's an interesting new take on the car incentive and I'll be curious to see how consumers react to it.

This is the same font and weird orange color that the Discover Card uses. Coincidence?

The fine print states the 20% is from GM. You are certainly going to get something from your dealer on an older stock model.

Keep in mind the fine print states that this only applies to 15% of stock, but if you know what you want, and you know how to find it fast (hint - buick.com, GMC.com - locate a vehicle), then you can really score a deal here.

and if you are "open" to the exact configuration it will be quite EZ to get on it

in Canada I got a flyer today from PrairieGMC (rep for central Canada) and all they are offering is 0 down 0 first two payments 0 security 0 due at delivery
on Sierra they are advertising 173 by weekly at 0 percent for 36 months 0 down includes $1000 November bonus for eligible owners $4500 in credits, $1000 in lease "cash" and is inclusive of freight+PDI

Incorrect. The offer is on the bottom line number. You have listed the details for the entire incentive page - not just this program. Contact your local Buick or GMC dealer for details - this is quite a program - but only on a limited number of vehicles.

Here is an example from buick.com - note the discount percentage as listed on the Buick website is a straight 20%:

VIN: 1G4GC5G34EF260596
MSRP Standard Vehicle Price $38,615.00
Installed Options Total $4,785.00
Oversized power moonroof $1,195.00
Smoky Gray Metallic $0.00
Ebony, Leather-appointed seat trim $0.00
Buick® IntelliLink® audio with navigation $795.00
Driver Confidence Package #1 $2,125.00
Driver Confidence Package #1
This package includes:
Side Blind Zone Alert1 with Lane Change Alert
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
Lane Departure Warning
Forward Collision Alert
Head-Up Display
Front halogen fog lamps
Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) articulating headlamps
Bose® Premium Sound System $670.00
Destination Freight Charge $925.00
Total MSRP $44,325.00
Black Friday Cash Back - $8,865.00
Price after Black Friday Offer $35,460.00*

The 20% Cash Back offer is only good Buick Verano, Regal, and Lacrosse (no Encore or Enclave), and GMC Sierra models. Both are only good on the vehicles that have been sitting on the lot the longest (determined based on dealer inventory records so not on EVERY vehicle the dealer has). The offer is not good on any ordered vehicle.

Ok, good point, seems I got that wrong.

Still think some of the other is well worth noting especially the use of 11/17/2014 for the' inventory' count the 15 % that is on the ground and oldest - date.

Also think your second post including possible other discounts is off -

I deleted the reference just to make sure.

My neighbor accross the street just put a deposit on a 2014 Lacrosse AWD over the phone. He got 20% off from GM and 4% from the dealer. The 4% on a left-over, loaded 2014 model is a little low, but with the GM incentive, the dealer can hold out a little. All in all, what a deal. He was about to lease a 2014 CTS.

Well, I was going to add something to the effect - but you can always try for more and see what happens...... and some will inevitably add some more suga' ...... while also suggesting that may or may not happen across large numbers of transactions but .... got the goofy can't edit the one post going on again.

Think I have a work around of sorts this time.

So you'd be willing to let the dealer get MSRP for 2014 leftover? Thats nuts. There's additional wiggle room for sure.

I've been eyeing a Cobalt Blue '14 Sierra SLT at a local store. I think I'll be heading there tomorrow see whats shaking :yup:
