I think the Bose in my 2014 sounds pretty good. Keep in mind there is technically two Bose systems. Bucket front seats get a subwoofer in the center console. Bench front seats do NOT get the subwoofer.
Tks, yes 7 speakers with the buckets
Perhaps you should elaborate a little more as to what or why you are interested in Bose.
I just bought a Bose sound touch 20 series II wifi speaker and a set of their headphones. Top notch sound and quality. Can't go wrong with Bose.
I ordered the bose sound system in my 2015 silverado, 6 speaker with sub under the console, had to get another whole option package just to get it.... had one in my 2004 , it was pretty good

Is that sub in addition to the regular Bose speaker package with the 6.2L's? And where exactly is it?
It's actually a dbl cab lt with the v6, I had to order true north package here in Canada to get it, and the optional bucket seats gives the sub under the center console.with bench seats it's just the 6 speaker bose optional as well
All I can say is I have/had BOSE systems in my 90 (yes 90) 01, 07, and current 2011
Deville/DTS cars. Except for the 90 my later BOSE systems SUCKED!
The regular stock Delco CD systems in my 13 Impala and Silverado and even my 94 Buick
sound as good !

The BOSE system in my 90 Deville ROCKED! It flexed the windows and roof at volume!
I never heard a stock system that sounded so good............
Very disappointed at my later BOSE systems.
I just bought a 2015 Suburban LTZ and I think the Bose Centerpoint system sounds great! Bass is very strong, a little weak on the highs, mids are great. Definitely sounds better than the Bose system in my 2008 Burb.
Suburban ltz is a sweet ride , how many speakers in that???

I loved the Bose system in my DHS.
In my Seville STS, however, it was just so-so. Same hardware, different cabin.
My friend has a 2001 dts. It has the bose and it was good but he since screwed it, playing poorly recorded music way to loud, sounds like crap now
The cruise I had with the pioneer was decent as well
I was gonna do an aftermarket stereo but didn't want my new interior ripped apart. I believe it should be sufficient enough. At my age I don't need ear shattering levels of volume. Just decent sound with some base
