Today we had the running of the Bathurst 12 hour and again it was a very close finish - I think if you got people to walk it you would still get a close finish.
The Nissan GT-rR took the lead two laps out from the finish from the GT3 Bentley who suffered badly from safety cars at the end of the race, although they also may have helped with fuel savings. The Bentley was second going in to the last corner and ended up fourth! Still when you look at it Nissan, Audi, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Ferrari, Ferrari,Audi, Audi, Porsche it was not dominated by anyone which is good for the sport of endurance racing. 16th place was a "Marc Ford V8 Focus".

That car already competes here - as part of the world rally championship.

I actually watched a lot of it, or at least had it on in the background. The number of safety cars was ridiculous - just shows what great drivers the V8SC guys are. There were probably too many cars on the track though. Nobody seemed to have much of a strategy.

Who was the annoying Pom commentator ?
